The Election Commission of India has, under Sections 58(2) and 58A(2) of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, directed that the poll taken on 26th April, 2024 (Friday) in respect of 6 polling stations listed in the table below of 2- Outer Manipur (ST) Parliamentary Constituency to be void and appointed 30th April, 2024 (Tuesday) as the date for taking fresh poll at the said polling stations with hours of poll from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM: Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur

While addressing an election rally in Kolhapur, Maharashtra today, PM Modi said, “The prince of Congress has announced that he will get your property and women's jewelry and gold-silver investigated. Congress will distribute your earnings among those who have the first right on it, as Congress people say. Congress can stoop to any level for appeasement.”

Addressing a public rally in Maharashtra's Kolhapur today, PM Modi said, "If their government is formed, they will abrogate the CAA... Those who cannot win Lok Sabha seats in 3-digit numbers, can the INDI alliance even reach the door of forming a government... Their formula is 'Ek Saal, Ek PM'... And if they stay in power for five years, then five prime ministers... The Congress and INDI alliance are making speeches in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu demanding a separate country... Can the land of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ever accept this?...".

Addressing a public rally in Maharashtra's Kolhapur, PM Modi says, “When the Congress and its friends realised that they cannot compete with NDA's track record of development, they changed their strategy. They are using anti-national agendas and appeasement. Now, Congress' agenda is that they will reinstate Article 370 in Kashmir.”

"INDI Bloc is not even close" in the Lok Sabha 2024 race, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing a public meeting in Kolhapur, Maharashtra on Saturday. 

While rallying In Kolhalpur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "Kolhapur is called the football hub of Maharashtra. Football is very popular among the local youth here. If I speak to you in Football terminology, yesterday after the completion of the second phase, BJP-NDA is leading 2-0."

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released the 15th list of candidates for Lok Sabha Elections 2024 today. Ujwal Nikam has been nominated from Mumbai North Central, while Poonam Mahajan has been dropped.

The Congress CEC meeting has been postponed for today.

Mumbai Congress president Varsha Gaikwad made a claim that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance will win all the six seats in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, and that “people want to save democracy”. Gaikwad is the Congress candidate for the LS Polls from Mumbai North Central.

The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) has released its poll manifesto for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. It talks of promises such as increase in welfare pensions and making Visakhapatnam the executive capital, among other points.

A voter turnout of 76.24 percent was recorded in three Lok Sabha constituencies in Chhattisgarh in Phase-II of Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

"They are going against the MCC and the Election Commission should take action against them. They are coming out in public and asking people to slaughter cows and eat beef. They are asking for votes in the name of Babri Masjid. Surprisingly, an educated barrister like Asaduddin Owaisi is saying this. What is worrisome is, that he wants Muslims limited to eating beef, he does not want them to move on from all this. Pasmanda Muslims should think about this, do they have nothing else in life other than beef? He never talks to people about any manifesto... He has only two things to talk about, religion and beef... He does nothing except provocation... He has come 40 years cutting and eating beef, now Muslims need to think if they want things to continue like this for the next 40 years...," said BJP candidate Madhavi Latha on AIMIM Chief Asaduddi Owaisi.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has released a new campaign song for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. The rap song is titled ‘Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se’, in response to AAP convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's arrest.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath attends a public meeting and says, "The Lok Sabha Elections is being conducted in seven phases. Two phases have been completed yesterday. One Lok Sabha seat has already been won by BJP in Surat... Only one voice is echoing throughout the country, 'Phir Ek Baar, Modi Sarkar'... PM Modi has worked a lot for this in the last 10 years. I have come here to tell you that BJP is necessary for 'Atmanirbhara Bharat' and 'Viksit Bharat'..."

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday launched a scathing attack at the opposition leaders, accusing them of attempting to shift blame for their electoral defeats onto the Electronic Voting machine (EVMs).

Addressing the media, Adityanath asserted, "The people who are rejecting EVMs today are the same people who used to loot ballots."

YSRCP chief and Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched party poll manifesto today. 
 

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee slipped and fell while taking a seat after boarding her helicopter in Durgapur, Paschim Bardhaman today. She reportedly suffered a minor injury and was helped by her security personnel. She continued with her onward travel to Asansol.

Several people from the Sikh community in Delhi joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the presence of party National General Secretary Tarun Chugh, party leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa, and Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva.

All these weapons are used by international terrorists. I demand to declare Trinamool Congress as a terrorist organisation... This state is a paradise. People who watched the trailer on the incident in Khadikul, Egra, today watched the movie amid the recovery of RDX and deadly weapons in Sandeshkhali. Mamata Banerjee is fully responsible for this incident. I demand to arrest Mamata Banerjee and declare Trinamool Congress as a terrorist organisation."

Union Minister and BJP candidate from Amethi Smriti Irani attended a public rally in Uttar Pradesh's Amethi. She said, "It has been said to us that after Wayanad's voting today, the Congress candidate will arrive here, but first he will visit Ram temple. They rejected the invitation to the Ram temple consecration ceremony, now they will go to the temple as they think that this might get them votes, which means now they will go to betray god as well..." 

Polling concluded for 88 seats across 13 states and Union Territories under the second phase of general elections on Friday, with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's Wayanad Lok Sabha constituency in Kerala recording 72.70 per cent voter turnout.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak says, "Lotus (BJP) is blooming in the second phase of voting. A large number of voters came out of their homes and reached the booths in all eight seats...BJP will win with a huge majority..." 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday will hold mega election campaign in Maharashtra and Goa. 

“In the last 10 years under PM Modi, no scams like the Bofors scam, 2G scam and others took place. Our economic position has risen to fifth from eleventh rank in the world. The entire country saw how we tackled COVID-19,” said BJP candidate from Telangana’s Malkajgiri, Eatala Rajender.

The Jammu parliamentary constituency, where 22 candidates are in the fray, saw peaceful polling and recorded nearly 72 per cent voter turnout on Friday in the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections, officials said. The overall polling figure in the constituency this time was lower than the last general election in 2019 when 74 per cent voters exercised their franchise.
