Jennifer Aniston asks Theroux why he's not following her on Instagram

Jennifer Aniston recently made her official Instagram account and was instantly welcomed with a warm greeting from other famous celebrities on social media, including Ex-husband, Justin Theroux who took to the comments section to welcome her. 

The A-list glitch

The 48-year-old actor was among the first celebrities to follow her when she joined Instagram the previous week. Theroux recently told a global media publication that his ex-wife texted him, stating that he wasn’t following her, to which he immediately replied, informing her that it was the first thing he did, when he got on Instagram, on Wednesday, October 23.

He also explained that he realised that he was one the people caught in the A-listed glitch, as people started recognising him in the followers' list.  The Friends star sneaked into the social media platform and surprised everyone with a selfie from the Friends reunion featuring Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer.

Aniston breaks world record

Aniston broke the Guinness World Record for gaining the fastest one million followers, in just five hours and 16 minutes of joining the social media. The record was previously held by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Instagram account, @sussexroyal, gaining one million followers within five hours and 45 minutes.

It seems like Jennifer has already mastered the art of posting pictures with creative captions and is up-to-date with trending hashtags such as #TBT and more. On the other hand, Theroux's Instagram is filled with his dog’s pictures. His pup, Kuma, is not only a social media star but a movie star as well; she appears in Lady and the Tramp.   

Theroux added that he was extremely proud of his ex-wife joing Instagram and socialising. He even explained why he believes she’ll be a good social media presence and that the world will know how hilarious and amazing she is.
