Video: Car Catches Fire in Mumbai's Gokhale Bridge, 'Vehicle Movement Affected', Say Traffic Police
A video of huge plumes of smoke billowing from a burning car was spotted in Mumbai's Gokhale Bridge.

Mumbai: A car caught fire on the Gokhale bridge at Telli Galli in Mumbai's Andheri East. The huge blaze has led to disruptions in traffic on Gokhale Bridge and in the Sahar area of Andheri. Videos of the burning car and thick smoke billowing from the vehicle.
Taking to X, Mumbai Traffic Police department posted, "Traffic movement is slow at Gokhale Bridge and Sahar due to a car fire."
Efforts are ongoing to extinguish the flames. In the meantime, traffic on the bridge is moving slowly. Commuters are advised to consider alternative routes such as Andheri Subway or Captain Gore flyover at Irla. There have been no reports of injuries or casualties confirmed so far. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
