Netizens are lauding a Chinese policeman who was identified helping an elderly man cross the busy intersection in Shanghai. He can be seen carrying the old man on his back. The surveillance camera installed at the intersection captured the heartwarming moment which made the netizens laud.

The video footage shows that the police officer walking with the old man, helping him to cross the busy intersection. The policeman after having a brief conversation lifts the man on his shoulders halfway across the zebra crossing. The policeman initially struggled to acquire balance, but both of them quickly made it to the other side of the road. The netizens reacted to the video and appreciated the policeman for his compassion. A Facebook user posted, “World is not run by brilliant minds it is by beautiful hearts.” Another user wrote, “My salute to honorable officer.” Another user wrote, “ThankYou at least there are still good people out there”.
