BMW M5 Launched In India: Price, Features, And More

New BMW M5 Launched: BMW Group India launched new M5 in India with an updated exterior design, powerful engine and more sporty aestics. It is powered by a twin turbo V8 engine with a hybrid system, consisting of an elecrical motor and an all electric range of up to 69km. company has launched seventh generation of M5 sedan and will come via CBU (Completely Built Unit) route. price of BMW M5 starts at Rs 1.99 crore (ex-showroom) in India. It is a more performance oriented version of regular 5-Series sedan in India.

BMW M5 Exteriors: 

design of BMW M5 is similar to regular 5-Series sedan in India. It comes with all-LED aptive helamps and kidney grill finished in gloss black. re is a single bar on grill consisting of M5 bge. new BMW 5 gets revised bumpers, and air intakes for better aerodynamics. grill opens up when car needs more air to cool engine. 

Coming to side of new M5, sports sedan runs on staggered wheel size. front wheels are equipped with 20-inch alloy wheels and rear comes with 21-inch alloy wheels. flared wheel arches enhances sporty aestics. Since it is a plug-in hybrid model, port for charging vehicle is present on left fender. ORVMs are similar to previous generation model. 

At rear, LED taillights are similar to regular 5-Series. M5 comes with qu-exhaust pipes with diffusers for better airflow. re are sharp cuts and creases enhancing character of sedan. 

BMW M5 Interiors: 

interiors of BMW M5 gets an update over previous generation. It gets a new connected layout for infotainment touchscreen and instrument cluster and it is tilted towards driver. steering wheel is similar as regular 5-Series with a flat-bottom. re are new sports seats with M5 bge. centre console gets a minimlastic gear selector, a rotary dial with M bge  and multiple drive mode selector as well. steering wheel gets special M1 and M2 buttons, which can be configured for suspension, exhaust, engine, driving mode, and or factors. 

BMW M5 Features: 

BMW M5 consists of multiple features such as wireless charger, ambient lighting, multiple driving modes, pdle shifters, and more. Since new M5 is a plug-in hybrid, re is a specific M Hybrid mode in which car can be on complete electric power for up to 69km. It is offered with a standard Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system with 18 speakers and 655-watt amplifier. M5 comes with aptive M suspension as standard with electronically controlled dampers and rear-axle steering, which steers rear wheels by up to 1.5 degrees. For safety, it comes with multiple airbags, ABS, EBD, Cornering Brake Control, Performance Control, and more.

BMW M5 Engine Specifications: 

new BMW M5 is powered by a 4.4-litre twin turbo V8 petrol engine mated to an electric motor as well. combined output of BMW M5 is 727 BHP and 1000Nm torque, mated to an eight-speed torque converter gearbox. company claims that it can do 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, 0-200km/h in 10.9 seconds and top speed is limited to 250 km/h. With M Driver Package, top speed can be extended to 305km/h.
