BYD eMax 7 launched at Rs 26.90 lakh in India: Top features, range, charging and more

BYD eMax 7 launched: BYD India launched the eMax 7 at Rs 26.90 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. It is the facelift version of the E6 MPV, which now comes in a seven-seater configuration. The eMax 7 now comes with updated exteriors, spacious interiors and a comprehensive set of features on offer. Additionally, the eMax 7 comes with blade battery technology, it is a 71.2 kWh battery pack which is and has a claimed range of 530 km on a single charge.

BYD eMax 7 price:

BYD launched the eMax 7 in India at Rs 26.90 lakh (ex-showroom) for the six-seater Premium variant and goes to Rs 29.90 lakh for the seven-seater Superior variant. It comes in two variants and four colour options. The Premium variant offers a 55.4 kWh battery pack and the Superior has a battery pack of 71.8 kWh. 

BYD eMax 7 exterior design:

The exteriors of the BYD eMax 7 come with a fresh appearance. The front profile of the BYD eMax 7 gets updated LED DRLs with LED headlamps, which are connected to the grill. The front bumper is revised and offers simple aesthetics with chrome used on the lower parts of the bumper. It has a front parking camera with 360-degree cameras and parking sensors to help in parking in tight spaces. The side gets regular door handles and runs on 17-inch alloy wheels. The rear has a clean appearance and offers LED DRLs, connected LED taillamps, and has powered tailgate feature.

The BYD eMax 7 has a length of 4,710mm, a width of 1,810mm, and stands 1,690mm tall along with a wheelbase of 2,800mm.

BYD eMax 7 interior ambience: 

The interior of the eMax 7 is fresh and revised. It is now available in both six and seven-seater configurations, offering decent space in every row. The airiness inside the cabin is enhanced with the massive panoramic moonroof on offer. It now gets an updated layout for the dashboard and has a 12.8-inch rotating infotainment screen with wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

BYD eMax 7 features:

The eMax 7 offers a comprehensive set of features for the customers. This MUV offers features such as a 360-degree camera, front-ventilated seats, wireless charging, dual-zone automatic climate control, ambient lighting, and more. Additional safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, TPMS, and more. The eMax 7 also offers Level-2 ADAS features. The BYD eMax 7 offers Vehicle-to-Load technology. 

BYD eMax 7 battery and range: 

The BYD eMax 7 comes with blade battery technology. The Superior variant comes with a 71.8 kWh battery pack, offering a claimed range of 530 km on a single charge. The Premium variant offers a 55.4 kWh battery pack and has a claimed range of 420 km on a single charge. It has a single motor powering the front wheels and produces a power output of 201 BHP and 310 Nm torque. It has a 0-100 km/h claimed time of 8.6 seconds. 

BYD eMax 7 charging:

The company claims that the eMax 7 goes from 0-80 per cent charge in 37 minutes using a 71.8 kWh DC charger.
