If going for a hardwired GPS tracker, then the following tools are required, a screwdriver, electrical tape, wire strippers, and zip ties for mounting.

Step-3 For installing Plug-and-Play GPS Trackers:
Locate the OBD-II port of the vehicle. This is generally present under the steering wheel or the dashboard. Connect the tracker to the port and secure it for stability.
Step-4 For installing Hardwired GPS Tracker:
Locate the vehicle’s ignition wires, these are usually found under the steering wheel.

Connect the red wire of the GPS tracker to the constant power source.
Connect the black wire of the GPS tracker to the grounding point.
Connect the white wire to the ignition switch wire. This turns on the tracker when the vehicle is switched on.
Secure the connections of the tracker using the electrical tape and prevent any short circuit damage.
