Hyundai expands portfolio of exports, starts exporting Made-in-India Exter to South Africa

Hyundai Exter in South Africa: Hyundai Motors India started the exports of its Made-In-India micro SUV, Exter to South Africa. Hyundai is one of the leading export players of passenger vehicles in India. The company used to export seven models to South Africa but now there is an increase in the export portfolio by adding its micro SUV, to be exported from India.

Export portfolio of Hyundai India

Hyundai currently exports seven models to South Africa. Hyundai has shipped 996 units of Exter to South Africa and with this inclusion, the export portfolio of Hyundai’s exports increased.  Hyundai already exports models like Grand i10 NIOS, Aura, i20, i20 N Line, and Venue, Venue N Line, and Alcazar.

Recent updates in Exter    

Hyundai has recently updated the variant lineup on the Exter. The company added the S+ (AMT) variant at Rs 8.44 lakh (ex-showroom) and the S(O)+ MT at Rs 7.86 lakh (ex-showroom) variant with a sunroof. The Exter is also available with a dual-cylinder CNG option, the Hy-CNG variant, and a single-cylinder option as well. The Exter Hy-CNG dual-cylinder CNG variant competes against the Tata Punch i-CNG. The price of the Hyundai Exter Hy-CNG variant starts at Rs 8.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
