Jawa 42 FJ Launched with 350cc Engine, Starts at Rs 1.99 Lakh

Jawa 42 FJ launched: Jawa Yezdi, brand under Classic Legends has launched the Jawa 42 FJ at Rs. 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. This motorcycle is launched in the Neo-Classic segment of the manufacturer. Currently, Jawa offers four motorcycles in India and the Jawa 42 FJ is offered with a new powerful 350cc engine and decent features. Jawa has recently updated the Jawa 42 and slashed its price. The manufacturer also has plans to open 100 dealerships around the festive season.

The Jawa 42 FJ is launched at Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and is offered in four variants. The new motorcycle competes against the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, Honda CB350 RS in the segment. The Jawa 42 FJ is offered with four colour options in dual-tone shades.

The Jawa 42 FJ offers a neo-retro design language. The bike offers decent changes in the design, having a sporty aesthetic with modern day elements. It is offered with LED headlamps and indicators. At the front it has 17-inch tyres on offer. The seat height is 780mm, which makes it comfortable for short heighted passengers also. The side of the motorcycle is sporty. The rear profile of the Jawa 42 FJ has similar presence as the regular available model. The grab handles are decent at the rear and provide decent grip. The motorcycle has a 178mm ground clearance. The offset speedometre on the Jawa 42 FJ enhances the sporty aesthetic.

There are decent features offered by Jawa in the 42 FJ in the segment. It offers LED light setup, USB charging socket, dual-channel ABS, and all digital instrument clusters.

The Jawa 42 FJ is equipped with a new Alpha2 350cc engine that churns out 29.2 BHP and 29.6 Nm torque. This engine is the second generation offered over the regular Jawa 350. This 350cc engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and comes with an ANS clutch The exhaust note from the Jawa 42 FJ is thumpy on idle.
