Premium KTM launched in India: KTM India launched the new 1390 Super Duke in the market and announced the company’s foray into the premium category of motorcycles. The company has launched the 1390 Super Duke R EVO, which is the flagship streetfighter motorcycle. The price of the motorcycle starts at Rs 22.96 lakh (ex-showroom) and is powered by a twin-cylinder engine. The 1390 Super Duker R was updated globally in 2023 and got design and mechanical updates.

The price of the KTM 1390 Super Duke R starts at Rs 22.96 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.

KTM 1390 Super Duke R Design:

The design of the KTM 1390 Super Duke R is similar to the KTM 1290 Super Duke R. It uses the same frame and gets a vertical setup for the LED headlamps and a new design for the LED DRLs. The fuel tank has been revised and now winglets are present for better aerodynamics. The braking duties are managed by the Brembo Stylema calipers, having 320mm disc brakes at the front and 240mm disc at the rear.

KTM 1390 Super Duke R Suspension:

The suspension setup on the KTM 1390 Super Duke R is revised and it offers 48mm WP front forks and the rear has a mono-shock suspension with compressive damping. The upper variant, KTM 1390 Super Duke R EVO gets a semi-active suspension that uses real-time adaptation and there are magnetic valves for damping.

KTM 1390 Super Duke R Features:

The 1390 Super Duke R comes equipped with features such as five riding modes, cruise control, engine brake control, a slipper and assist clutch, a five-step adjustment for wheelie control, and a five-inch TFT display. For safety, the 1390 Super Duke R is equipped with launch control, traction control, slide control, and more.

KTM 1390 Super Duke R Engine Specifications:

The KTM 1390 Super Duke R is powered by a 1,350cc liquid-cooled V-Twin engine, which produces 188 BHP and 145 Nm torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox.
