Ola Electric records 41,605 units vehicle registrations in October 2024, surge by 74%

Ola registrations in October: Ola Electric Mobility on Friday reported that company registered a 74 per cent surge in vehicle registrations. According to Vahan data, registration stood at 41,605 units in October 2024 as compared to same month last year.

As per a statement from Ola Electric, company recorded total sales of over 50,000 units in October 2024.

" festive season has been really strong for us on back of our expansive portfolio, uptick in consumer demand, and strengning of our sales network across India. We have witnessed an increase in EV adoption especially in Tier 2 and 3 markets and we are confident that this positive growth will cascade in coming months as well,"  a spokesperson of Ola Electric Mobility Ltd said.

market share of Ola Electric was recorded at 30 per cent, and company holds a strong position in electric two-wheeler segment in India.

To improve sales and ownership experience, Ola Electric recently anunced that it has started a campaign to double its company-owned service network. company plans to open 1,000 centres by December 2024. Following this anuncement, as part of network partner programme, Ola Electric will also onboard 10,000 partners across sales and service by end of 2025.

Additionally, company is also focussing on training program of its partners. Ola Electric aims to provide training to 1 lakh third-party mechanics under its EV Servicing Training Programme.

Ola Electric currently offers electric scooters and motorcycles in its portfolio. Ola Electric has S1 range of electric scooters, having different battery packs available and company recently launched Roadster series, electric bike in India. deliveries of Roadster will commence in January 2025.
