Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition launched at Rs 5 crore in India

Limited Edition Range Rover: British luxury car manufacturer, Range Rover launched the exclusive Ranthambore Edition of its flagship SUV, SV, at Rs 5 crore (ex-showroom) in India. Since it is a limited edition variant, only 12 units will be available in India. The Ranthambore Edition gets personalisation from the Bespoke team and the company says that it is inspired by the tiger in its natural habitat. A 3.0-litre petrol engine powers the Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition and is available in a four-seater configuration.

Price and availability:

The Ranthambore Edition starts at Rs 5 crore (ex-showroom) in India. Since it is a limited edition variant of the SUV, there are only 12 units which are available in India. Interested customers can visit their nearest dealership to book this SUV and the delivery details will be shared soon. Range Rover will be donating a portion of proceeds from each vehicle sale to the Wildlife Conservation Trust of India.

Exterior:

The Ranthambore Edition gets a different paint scheme, having a deep black colour with a rich red shimmering effect. To enhance the details on the exterior of this SUV, there’s a use of Corinthian Bronze and Anthracite accents. This SUV runs on 23-inch forged wheels which come in dark grey with Corinthian Bronze inserts.

Interiors:

The interiors of the Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition get a luxurious ambiance. There is a Bespoke craftsmanship treatment along with a combined Caraway and light Perlino semi-aniline leather with contrast stitching. There is embroidery on the seats inspired by the spine of the tiger. It also gets customised cushions, chrome jewellery finishes, light linear wenge veneers, and white ceramic dials.

The rear seats are fully reclinable and have a powered table, cupholders are deployable, and a refrigerated compartment with SV-etched glassware. Additionally, it also gets SV Bespoke branded scuff plates with ‘Ranthambore Edition’ and ‘1 of 12’ designation.

Engine specification:

The Range Rover SV Ranthambore Edition is powered by a 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbo petrol engine, which produces 400 BHP and 550Nm torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic torque converter gearbox. The 3.0-litre engine channels its power to all four wheels of the SUV.
