Tata Motors recorded sales of 82,682 units in October 2024, declined by 0.32%

Tata Motors said that the company recorded a marginal decline in its domestic and international sales and recorded sales of 82,682 units in October.

Tata Motors sales in October: Tata Motors on Friday said that company recorded a marginal decline in its domestic and international sales. Tata Motors recorded sales of 82,682 units in October, having a marginal decline of 0.32 per cent on a year-on-year basis. As compared to October 2023, Tata Motors fell short of 272 units as company recorded sales of 82,954 units in same month last year.

Tata Motors Domestic sales:

total domestic sales of Tata Motors saw marginal growth. automaker recorded total sales of 80,839 units in October 2024 and recorded a growth of 14 units against 80,825 units in year-ago period, having a growth of 1.73 per cent.

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicle sales:

In passenger vehicle (PV) segment, sales including electric vehicles saw a marginal decline. passenger vehicle segment recorded sales of 48,423 units and witnessed a decline of 0.44 per cent on a year-on-year basis. passenger vehicle segment saw sales of over 48,637 units a year ago.

Tata Motors Domestic Passenger Vehicle Segment Sales:

Similarly, in domestic passenger vehicle segment, sales were down at 48,131 units. It saw a decline of 0.42 per cent on a year-on-year basis. domestic passenger vehicle segment saw sales of 48,337 units as compared to year-ago month, company said.

Tata Motors Commercial Vehicle sales:

In commercial vehicle segment, sales of Tata Motors stood at 34,259 units in October 2024. re was a decline of 58 units marginally and saw a 0.16 per cent decline on a year-on-year basis. sales in commercial vehicle segment fell down from 34,317 units in October 2023.

Tata Motors recently crash-tested Curvv, Curvv EV, and Nexon in Bharat NCAP safety programme and all three SUVs scored five-star safety ratings. Nexon has secured five-star safety rating from both Bharat NCAP and Global NCAP testing ncies.
