Tata vs Mahindra: Tata Motors recently updated the Nexon EV lineup in India by adding a bigger battery pack of 45kWh to the car. It mainly rivals the Mahindra XUV 400 EV and the MG ZS EV in its segment. Earlier, it was offered in medium and long-range options, but now there is an option for a 45-long-range version as well. It is available in five variants. On the other hand, the XUV 400 starts at Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the EL Pro 39.5 kWh battery pack variant. It is available in two battery packs and five variants.

The Nexon EV and the XUV 400 offer a comprehensive set of features. The Nexon EV is loaded with a panoramic sunroof, Vehicle-to-load, and Vehicle-to-Vehicle technology, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, and an instrument cluster. On the other side, the XUV 400 is offered with a 10.25-inch infotainment system and instrument cluster, wireless charger, and dual-zone automatic climate control among others.
