Toyota Kirloskar Motor sales grew by 41%, records 30,845 units in October 2024

Toyota Kirloskar Motor registered total sales of 30,845 units in October 2024 and recorded a growth of 41 per cent on a year-on-year basis.

Toyota's sales in October: Toyota Kirloskar Motor has reported that the auto manufacturer registered total sales of 30,845 units in October 2024 and recorded a growth of 41 per cent on a year-on-year basis. There was a rise of 8,966 units as compared to 21,879 units in the same month last year.

The company's entire range of product offerings has experienced strong sales momentum during the festive season, TKM Vice President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business , Sabari Manohar said.

"This growth is fuelled by increased footfalls and strong demand for our SUVs and MPVs, along with a significant boost from the introduction of 'Festival Limited Editions' of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Urban Cruiser Taisor, Glanza and Rumion, which were specially launched for the season," he added.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor Domstic Sales:

The domestic sales of the Toyota Kirloskar Motor stood at 28,138 units in October 2024.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor Export:

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) reported that total exports were at 2,707 units in October 2024.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor’s Year-To-Date sales:

Toyota’s sales in the first seven months witnessed a surge as compared to the same period the previous year. The auto manufacturer registered total sales of 1,93,468 units in the period of April to October 2024. The company saw a growth of 33 per cent on a year-on-year basis and recorded additional sales of 47,650 in this period. Toyota Kirloskar Motor recorded sales of 1,45,818 units from April to October 2023.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor’s Recent Collaboration:

The automaker has recently announced the expansion of the partnership with Suzuki Motors in India for the development of the first EV in India. At present, both the companies, the Maruti Suzuki and Toyota Kirloskar Motor do not have any EVs in their lineup in India. The upcoming electric vehicle, which will be an SUV, will be powered by a 60-kilowatt-hour battery pack with a range of 500 kilometers on full charge.
