Volvo Cars November sales climb 8% led by robust US demand

The Recharge line-up, including chargeable Volvo models, constituted 36% of Volvo Cars’ sales in November.

Volvo Cars witnessed an 8 per cent increase in global sales for November, totalling 63,682 cars compared to the same period last year. Across January to November, their global sales surged by 17 per cent, totalling 632,701 cars in comparison to the same timeframe in 2022.

The Recharge line-up, including chargeable Volvo models, constituted 36 per cent of Volvo Cars’ sales in November, with 16 per cent representing fully electric cars on a global scale.

European sales rose by 2 per cent, hitting 26,407 cars in November, while recharge cars accounted for 55 per cent of the sales in the region.

In the US, Volvo Cars sold 11,671 cars in November, marking a 26 per cent increase from the same month last year. Recharge cars made up 26 per cent of the total US sales during November, showing a 10 per cent growth.

Chinese sales surged by 21 per cent in November, totaling 15,178 cars, with Recharge model sales also rising by 21 per cent compared to the same period last year.

The top-selling model for November was the Volvo XC60, reaching 22,317 sales, followed by the XC40 at 16,672 cars, and the XC90 at 9,860 cars.
