After three phases of lockdown, Indian Railways has started 30 train services for travelling in nation. se 30 trains are slated to start from Delhi and connect major cities in India. se special train services will start on May 12, with train number 02454 which will travel through Delhi to Ranchi from May 13, and May 14 from Ranchi to New Delhi (Train number 02453). It is a special train that will run biweekly on Tuesday and Saturday from Delhi to Ranchi and vice versa and will also halt at specific stations. Delhi to Ranchi train timings
- special train (02454) will start from New Delhi to Ranchi on May 13 at 15:30 i.e 3:30 pm and will reach destination at 10.00 am next day.
- train from Ranchi to New Delhi (02453) will start at 17:40 i.e. 5:40 pm on May 14 and reach Delhi at 10.55 am. next day.
- This train will be fully air-conditioned having a total of 17 coaches of 3A/2AC/1st AC .

Delhi to Ranchi train ticket booking
- IRCTC tickets for special passenger trains can be booked via IRCTC website or IRCTC app.
- Catering charges will not be included in fare as dry, rey to eat meals would be provided on payment basis inside train.
- reservation of tickets can only be done for a period of 7 days in vance.
- re will be no provision for waitlisted, RAC, tatkal tickets or premium tatkal tickets for se special trains.

Online cancellation of tickets
- Online cancellation of tickets is allowed only up to 24 hours before departure of train from starting station.
- A cancellation charge of tickets would be 50% of fare.
- For trains that are cancelled by Indian Railways till May 17, 2020, passengers would receive a full refund automatically by IRCTC.

Facilities and rules for train travelling
- Only passengers who have confirmed train tickets would be allowed to enter railway stations
- Passengers are vised to reach stations 90 minutes before scheduled departure of train so that officials can ensure proper screening of passengers.
- All passengers are vised to downlo Aarogya Setu application.
- Passengers are vised to carry ir personal blankets, bedsheets, and ir own linen while travelling.
- Train side food vendors would not be allowed. No booths on platforms will remain open.
- Passengers would have to carry ir own masks, soaps, sanitisers, face cover etc.
- It is vised that passengers cover ir faces at all times while travelling by train.
- Passengers would have to undergo screening at departing stations so as to ensure that only asymptomatic passengers are travelling by train.
- Passengers are vised to travel light as porters won't be available at destination stations.
- After arriving at destination station, passengers would have to undergo local State Government health protocols as applicable.
