IBM CEO calls PM Modi an 'authentic leader' and a 'genuine listener'

IBM CEO interacted with PM Modi at the CEO Roundtable in New York. After the meeting, she shared her thoughts about it and called PM Modi an 'authentic leader'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended CEO Roundtable in New York where he interacted with American business leers. IBM CEO Ginni Rometty interacted with Prime Minister at meeting. After meeting, she has called PM Modi as an ‘auntic leer'.

'PM Modi genuinely listened to everyone's input'

In a video posted by Office of Prime Minister on Twitter, Ginni Rometty said, “We have just left an outstanding meeting with Prime Minister Modi. One of things that stands out is what an auntic leer he is, genuinely listening to everyone’s input in room and while I went to meeting optimistic about India, I am even more optimistic about India and his firm, firm intent continue to help with ease of doing business and that is a win for both India and IBM.”

Before his meeting with top CEOs, PM Modi delivered keyte dress at Bloomberg Global Business Forum on third day of engments during his visit in New York for annual high-level UN General Assembly session. Delivering keyte dress at Bloomberg Global Business Forum, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that infrastructure creation in India was progressing at a fast pace. Earlier, Michael Bloomberg, co-founder of Bloomberg LP, welcomed PM to event. latter urged foreign companies to invest in India as it was one of world’s largest ecosystems.

‘Rapidly modernizing our cities’

PM Modi outlined potential for investment arising from massive infrastructure push India is currently in midst of, also mentioning fact that government was in process of building millions of homes for poor and middle class.
"Our infrastructure creation is expanding at a fast pace, from highways to metros, from railways to ports and from airports to logistics. Each sector is seeing massive investment and tremendous potential. Thus, if you want to invest in one of world’s largest ecosystem, come to India. We are rapidly modernizing our cities and equipping m with latest techlogy and citizen-friendly infrastructure. Thus, if you want to invest in urbanization, come to India. We have opened our defence sector as never before. If you want to make in India, for India and for world, come to India. We are building tens of millions of homes for poor and middle classes. This is perhaps largest housing efforts in world. Thus, to invest in realty, come to India,"  Prime Minister said.
