Air India Express announces sale with fares starting at Rs 1,799, check details here

Tata-owned Air India Express on Thursday has announced sale on bookings made during the holiday season for domestic as well as international flights. The Campbell Wilson-run airline’s Express service announced a “bumper sale” on domestic and international flights, for bookings made until December 25, 2023, for travel from January 8, 2024, to April 12, 2024.

“Domestic sector fares start at Rs 1799, covering routes like Delhi - Jaipur, along with discounted fares on popular routes such as Chennai-Bengaluru, Bagdogra-Kolkata, Kochi-Bengaluru, Hyderabad-Goa, and more, including key international sectors,” Air India Express said in a statement.

Integrating Tata Neu awards and Xpress Ahead Services on Air India’s mobile app and website, additional benefits like exclusive deals on meals, seats, baggage, cancellation fee waivers can be availed by customers.

Special fares are also available for students, senior citizens, dependents and members of armed forces on airindiaexpress.com, Air India said.

The airline also introduced Vista VIP, a business class-like product on select Boeing 737-8 aircraft with luxe services like spacious seats, extra legroom, increased baggage allowance, hot meals, and priority service.

Air India Express operates a fleet of 59 aircraft, including 31 Boeing 737s and 28 Airbus A320s and operates over 300 daily flights to 31 domestic and 14 international destinations.

In a revamp after the Tata Group took control, Air India has been turning things around for service by rebranding as well as Gourmair hot meals, comfortable seating, AirFlix in-flight entertainment and exclusive loyalty benefits.
