Industry-academia tie-up between TeamLease EdTech, IIT Patna & NSDC, to make grads job-ready

TeamLease EdTech has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indian Institute of Technology Patna and National Skill Development Corporation, part of Finance Ministry for accelerating learning programs that boost employability, company said Wednesday.

As part of collaboration signed late Tuesday, aspirants can avail Work-linked Hybrid Degree Programs to acquire an IIT Degree along with an experience certificate from employer.

Prof TN Singh, Director of IIT Patna, said: “ IIT Patna is taking several path-breaking initiatives to improve gruate employability in country. Our partnership with TeamLease EdTech and NSDC will help us design, develop and deliver a new category of immersive hybrid programs that help provide learners with high-quality acemics and necessary work-experience.”

Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO, NSDC said this new category of work-embedded programs shall go a long way in improving employability of youth of country by bringing IIT brand excellence to workplaces.
