South Korean automaker KIA Motors on Thursday anunced an ditional investment of USD 54 million in Andhra Presh for an upcoming project. KIA India CEO Kookhyun Shim declared to invest an ditional sum of USD 54 million on company's expansions in state while speaking at Andhra Presh government's flagship programme 'Mana Paalana, Mee Soochana' on industries. investment will be focussed on manufacturing SUV vehicles in State.

Shim said that "KIA is all set to become a model for foreign investors and investments coming to Andhra Presh." He furr reiterated that 85 per cent of employment opportunities created by South Korean company is presently catering to citizens of Andhra Presh, reby furring Chief Minister's vision of generating employment via investments.
