What is CORE Program?

The CORE program is designed to promote jointness and integration, improving cooperation and coordination across different services to develop a comprehensive understanding of the operational environment. The program will feature panel discussions and lectures from 30 distinguished speakers and subject matter experts from diverse fields, each focusing on a unique theme daily. Topics to be explored include the evolving nature of warfare, globalization and interconnectedness, lessons from current global conflicts, the impact of non-kinetic warfare, cyber and information warfare, and the integration of artificial intelligence and autonomous systems in the military.

The Combined Operational Review and Orientation (CORE) program is designed to equip senior officers of the Indian Armed Forces with the skills necessary for future leadership roles. It focuses on strategic planning and preparing for potential threats, challenges, and conflicts. Successful future military operations will depend on three crucial factors: military leaders, the man-machine interface, and support staff.
