Held in collaboration with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), two-day event, conducted from 17th-18th September 2024, underscored Army's focus on indigenizing technology under Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
This cutting-edge initiative, titled HIM-DRONE-A-THON 2, aims to enhance operational efficiency and tactical superiority in high-altitude regions, such as unforgiving terrains of Lakh. With increasing role of drones in modern warfare, seen in conflicts like Ukraine and Israel, event drew on recent battlefield lessons, stressing versatility of drone technology in surveillance, logistics, precision strikes, and communication.
