Global interest peaks in engaging with India on FTAs: Piyush Goyal

Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Sunday said that world is keen to engage with India for free tre agreements (FTA) as part of efforts to expand tre and diplomatic relations.
dressing inaugural session of maiden Global Investors Meet organised by DMK government, Commerce and Textiles Minister highlighted India's demographic dividend, with its young population becoming envy of world.

Goyal vocated for inclusion of women in formal workforce, stating that ir entry would not only contribute to GDP but also le to a significant technological shift. He envisioned India becoming largest market for goods and services, emphasizing positive impact of women-led development on nation's growth.
Highlighting India's economic progress, Goyal noted that world is increasingly interested in establishing free tre agreements with India. He praised India's young population, with an average age of 28.4 years, as a driving force behind nation's development across various sectors.

Goyal echoed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for India to become a developed nation by 2047, emphasizing importance of women-led development and making India corruption-free. He commended India's transformation from being perceived as 5th weakest economy before 2014 to becoming world's fifth-largest economy.
Minister commended Tamil Nu government's ambitious target of raising state's economy by $1 trillion by 2030. He expressed confidence that this vision would le to industrialization, job creation, and drive economic growth in state.
