NCP leer Majeed Memon has reacted to Union Minister Ravi Shankar Pras's comments on ecomy. NCP leer said that Union Minister has me a 'laughing stock' out of himself by making such comments. MP furr attacked Minister and said that people go to movies to ir problems.
Ravi Shankar Pras dismisses claims of an ecomic slowdown
Ravi Shankar Pras on Saturday dismissed concerns about an ecomic slowdown and quoted box office collections of movies in a day, at a press briefing in Mumbai.

"As I am in Mumbai, I have come to kw about a very interesting story regarding slowdown. As I was an Information & Brocasting minister in Atalji government, films have always been dear to me. In huge business by movies - on October 2 three movies were released. According to tre analyst - Komal Nahta, ' national holiday of October 2 saw movie earning of Rs. 120 Crore a record by three movies- War, Joker and Sye Raa.' If nation's ecomy is sound, n only such a return can be witnessed in a day?" Union Minister said.
His comments got reactions from ministers across political spectrum and people called him out on his comments.

Asuddin Owaisi slams Pras
AIMIM chief Asuddin Owaisi also attacked Government and Ravi Shankar Pras at a rally on Monday. AIMIM leer said that when ministers are questioned about ecomy y quote movie collections.

" ecomy is falling, people don't have jobs and he says 3 pictures have released because y have earned a 320 crore business," he said.

'Laughable'
Communist Party of India (Marxist) Chief Secretary Sitaram Yechury has also reacted to comments me by Ravi Shankar Pras. CPI(M) leer said statement was laughable and said India is actually suffering.
"It is laughable. India has a population of 130 crores. re is a small section, which purchases tickets and watches movies, but rest of India is actually suffering," he said.

CPI(M) leer also said that comment was equivalent to a famous statement during french revolution.
"Pras's comment is equivalent to famous statement me during French Revolution that "people do t have bre, why t eat cake", he said.
RS Pras clarifies his statements
However, Ravi Shankar Pras on Sunday gave clarification about his statement on Twitter. BJP leer said that his statements were factually correct and he stated m because he was in Mumbai and alleged that he was taken out of context.
