2nd PUC result 2020: Karnataka 2nd PUC examination passing percentage touches 69.2%

Department of Pre-University Education or PUE under aegis of Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board has declared results of 2nd PUC examinations of affiliated schools in state of Karnataka. Almost 6 lakh students h appeared for 2019-2020 batch of examinations. This year exams were conducted during coronavirus scare by authorities, despite facing flak over conduction of examinations during situation.

Pass percent 2nd PUC 2020

In 2020, passing percent for state of all students that appeared for 2nd PUC examinations is 69.20%. This is quite higher than last year.  In 2019, passing percent for state of all students that appeared for 2nd PUC examinations was 61.73%. results for science, arts and commerce streams were declared today. Over 76.2% of science students successfully cleared 2nd PUC examinations this year. Students from commerce stream have a passing percent of 65.52%. On or hand, in 2020 arts stream has a passing percent of 41.27%. This year as well Udupi is  best performing district in Karnataka.

PUC results 2020 is better than 2019

Girls have performed better than boys in PUC exams. Passing percent of girls is 68.73 whereas boys have a passing percent of 54.73%. Last year over 66.58% science students successfully cleared 2nd PUC examinations. Followed by commerce stream that h passing percent of 66.39%. On or hand, in 2019, arts stream h passing percent of 50.53. In 2019, Udupi was best performing in Karnataka.
