NEET-UG 2024 Counselling Registration To Begin Soon After Revised NEET Result; Key Details Here

New Delhi: As Supreme Court refused to cancel NEET-UG 2024 citing lack of evidence to prove widespre paper leak, candidates are now expecting that counselling will begin soon. However, Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) might not begin National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Undergruate (NEET-UG 2024) counselling registration today, July 24. It is noteworthy that NTA h in Supreme Court through an affidavit that counselling will begin on July 24. However, a delay of a few days in counselling is expected as top court asked NTA to declare a revised result for candidates who opted for option 2 in ambiguous Physics question which was discussed in court. 

NTA will revise NEET-UG merit list by treating answer suggested by a panel of three experts of IIT Delhi to a controversial physics question as correct one. Earlier, NTA awarded 4 marks to this question by considering two options as correct. However, panel suggested that only option number 4 is correct and re cannot be two correct options. Moreover, court h suggested to not award negative marking for those who opted for option 2 as it was mentioned in old NCERT books.

NEET-UG Counselling 2024

MCC will release seat matrix and schedule for NEET-UG counselling soon. same can be checked on official website- mcc.nic.in. NEET counselling will be held in four rounds for all India quota (AIQ) online counselling. Once seat matrix is out, registrations will begin within a day.
