TNEA Counselling 2024: The Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu, has opened the registration window for the final round of counselling for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2024. Candidates who wish to take admissions to the B.Tech course can apply for the TNEA final round of counselling starting today, August 23. 

Candidates who scored between 141.9 and 77.5 (cut-off marks) can participate in this round. The last date to register is August 25. The TNEA seat allotment result will be out on August 26.

How to register for TNEA Counselling 2024:

1. Visit the official TNEA website-  tneaonline.org
2. Navigate to the registration link for B.E/ B.Tech or B.Arch counselling.
3. Key in your personal details and proceed with submission.
4. Complete the application form and payment process.
5. Download the confirmation page for future reference.

This academic year, 441 engineering colleges are participating in single window TNEA counselling. A total of 1,99,868 candidates are eligible to register for counselling. 

The All India Council for Technical Education has sanctioned an intake of 2,32,376 seats for this year. Branches related to computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and machine learning, have seen a steep increase in seats whereas in core technology branches such as mechanical, civil and mechatronics, 2,965 seats have been cut down. A total of 390 seats have been reduced in the architecture programme as well.
