Maharashtra Board Exam 2025 Date Sheet Out; SSC, HSE Exam Schedule Advanced This Year

Maharashtra Board Exams 2025: Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has officially released dates for Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (HSC) board examinations for acemic year 2024-25. In a significant shift, board has decided to conduct se exams eight to ten days earlier than in previous years.

Maharashtra Class 12 (HSC) Exam Schedule

For Class 12 students, including those enrolled in Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and Higher Secondary Vocational Course programs, written examinations will take place from Tuesday, February 11, 2025, to Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Prior to written exams, practical, oral, and internal assessments are scheduled from Friday, January 24, 2025, to Monday, February 10, 2025.

Maharashtra Class 10 (SSC) Exam Schedule

Class 10 students will sit for ir Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams starting from Friday, February 21, 2025, to Monday, March 17, 2025. practical and internal assessments for se students will be conducted from Monday, February 3, 2025, to Thursday, February 20, 2025.

Reason for vancing Exam Schedule

Tritionally, HSC exams begin in third week of February, with SSC exams starting in first week of March. Results are typically released by end of May or first week of June. However, this year, board has vanced examination schedule.

Shar Gosavi, chairman of state board, explained rationale behind this decision: “ board has vanced exam schedule to ensure a smoor mission process for next acemic year, provide students with ample time to prepare for entrance exams, and expedite supplementary exams and results for students needing retakes or gre improvements."

Anurha Oak, secretary of state board, ded, “To help reduce student stress, board has released exam dates well in vance. Detailed subject schedules for practical tests, oral exams, internal assessments, and written exams will be announced separately on Board's website.”
