CBSE and ISC toppers hopeful despite COVID-19; eye bright futures in space & economics

Despite setbacks due to COVID-19 pandemic, topper of CBSE Class 10 and ISC class 12 look forward to a bright future with earnest goals to achieve ir career aspirations. Aviral Mishra from Luckw, who scored highest score in Class 10 with 97 percent said that his love for drives him to study aerotics and join ISRO in future. ISC Class 12 topper Shambhavi Lal from Mumbai who scored an astonishing 99.75 percent score said that she is interested in learning behavioural ecomics in her college.

When asked if COVID-19 pandemic let m down due to delay in examinations and results, bright kids said that ir key focus was consistency in learning, equal amount of effort and sufficent practice, which helped m in passing exams with flying colours. 

"Despite pandemic setbacks, I am sure our batch will come out glorious and build a better future," Aviral Mishra said in an exclusive interview with Republic TV. 

" constantly changing timetables built a lot of ambiguity but it all worked out well. I was confident because I h performed well in previous papers," said Shambhavi Lal.

Aviral credited his school and teachers for scoring well in Class 10 board exams. "Even online classes are going on well. Practicals help us grasp concept even better," he said.

CBSE pass percent

This year CBSE pass percent has seen an increase than last year. A total of 91.46% of students have cleared CBSE class 10 examinations. CBSE pass percent for last year was 91.10%. girls have outscored boys in CBSE pass percent as passing percent of girls is 93.31% while CBSE Pass percent of boys is 90.14%. reports also ded that over 41,000 students i.e. 2.23% of students have scored more than 95% of marks in CBSE Class 10 result. As many as 1,84,358 students have scored more than 90% in CBSE Class 10 result. Trivandrum zone has topped this year’s CBSE class 10 result with CBSE pass percent of 99.28%. It is followed by Chennai zone with 98.95%.
