Class X students to be promoted without exams in Telangana: CM K Chandrasekhar Rao

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday said all class X students would be promoted to the next class without any examination, as it would not be possible to hold the exam due to the spread of coronavirus.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday said all class X students would be promoted to next class without any examination, as it would t be possible to hold exam due to spre of coronavirus.

" Chief Minister has decided that all 10th class students will be promoted to next class by giving m gres based on ir internal assessment marks," an official press release said.

Also, government has resolved to take a decision on degree/post-gruate examinations based on situation in immediate future, release said.

re are about 5.35 lakh, class X students, in state. chief minister arrived at decision during a high-level review meeting at Pragathi Bhavan here on conduct of examinations.

Education Minister Sabita Indrareddy, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and Special Chief Secretary (Education) Chitra Ramachandran, among ors, participated in meeting.
