Students, teachers oppose Delhi University’s online open book exams
Earlier, Delhi University declared that exams will be done online following open book scheme. However, professors and students are criticising university and calling decision a ‘hasty move’ as per reports. A total of 170 professors from Delhi University wrote to varsity to revoke exams.

In letter, teachers mentioned time restraints and internet connectivity as two of major problems for writing exams. Delhi University professors suggested that re are probabilities of servers getting stuck or uploing process taking more time than exam itself. teachers suggested that students be marked in an aver scheme rar than conducting exams hastily. assessments must be me based on ir previous exams as per professors. professors suggest that writing an exam should be when coronavirus situation completely rmal.

DU released guideline for preparing open book examination’s question papers
examination panel has urged teachers to start preparing question papers for upcoming exams of Delhi University’s final year students. According to report, exams will follow CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) pattern for final year students of university. total marks that can be obtained remain same, however, questions will be changed to suit OBE format.
