UGC NET 2024: City Intimation Slip For Re-Exam Likely To Be Out Today; How To Check

UGC NET 2024: National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release city intimation for re-examination of UGC NET 2024 today. Candidates will soon be able to downlo ir UGC-NET city slip from official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. re-examination is scheduled to take place from August 21 to September 4.

NTA will issue exam city slips, which will inform candidates of location of ir exam centers. city intimation slips provide details on city where exam will be held, while mit cards will contain specific name of exam center, exam date, time, and or essential details.

UGC NET re-test will be conducted online as a Computer-Based Test (CBT). This change comes after UGC NET June 2024 Cycle exam, which was originally conducted in pen-and-paper mode, was canceled by Education Ministry on June 18 following reports of a paper leak. NTA announced that upcoming re-exam would revert to CBT format, in line with previous UGC NET exams for assistant professorship, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and PhD missions.

In June exam, pen-and-paper exam saw an increase in application, with 11,21,225 candidates registering compared to 9,45,872 in December 2023. Despite this, overall attendance for June exam was around 81%, with 9,08,580 candidates appearing.
