UGC NET Admit Card: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the UGC NET Admit Card 2024 for the upcoming examination dates of August 21, 22, and 23. Candidates appearing for these exams can now download their hall tickets from the official UGC NET website at https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

How To Download UGC NET Admit Card 2024

To download the UGC NET Admit Card 2024, candidates need to follow these simple steps:

1. Visit the official website https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in
2. on the UGC NET admit card link available on the homepage.
3. Enter your login details.
4. Download the admit card.
5. Keep a printed copy of the same for future reference.

In addition to the admit card, the NTA has also released the exam city slip for all examination dates except for the August 26 exam, which has been postponed to August 27, 2024, due to the celebration of Janmashtami.

The UGC NET 2024 examination will be held from August 21 to September 4, 2024, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam will cover 83 subjects and will be conducted in two shifts: the first shift from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and the second shift from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

"Candidates are advised to download their Admit Card of UGC – NET June 2024 Examination (using Application No. and Date of Birth) along with the undertaking from the website https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/w.e.f. 17 August 2024 and go through the instructions contained therein. In case any candidate faces difficulty in downloading the Admit Card or discrepancy in the details contained in the Admit Card, candidates for UGC – NET June 2024, he/she can contact on 011- 40759000 or e – mail at ugcnet@nta.ac.in," the official notice reads. 

The UGC-NET is a crucial test that determines the eligibility of Indian nationals for various academic positions. It qualifies candidates for the ‘award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor,’ ‘appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.,’ and ‘admission to Ph.D. only’ in universities and colleges across India.
