New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the revised NEET-UG 2024 results today. Candidates can check the updated NEET scorecard and toppers' list on the official website: exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. They will have to log in using their application number, date of birth and email ID or phone number to access their NEET scorecard.

The initial results, declared on June 4, were surrounded by controversy as 67 students were initially declared toppers. However, the Supreme Court intervened on Tuesday, ordering the NTA to consider only option number 4 as the correct answer to an ambiguous question in the Physics section. Previously, the NTA had accepted both option 2 and option number 4 as correct. The Supreme Court directed IIT-Delhi to form a committee to resolve the issue, and the committee concluded that only option 4 was correct.

Following the Supreme Court's order, the NTA was instructed to revise the results and publish a new merit list and scorecards for all candidates. Approximately 4.2 lakh candidates who selected option number 2 will lose four marks due to this correction. Consequently, the number of toppers, initially reduced from 67 to 61 after the NTA withdrew the grace marks, will now further decrease to 17.
