UPSC CDS II Final Results 2024 Declared at upsc.gov.in; Here's Direct Link To Check Merit List

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results for the Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2023, specifically for the Officers Training Academy (OTA). Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.

The merit lists include 271 candidates (204 men and 67 women) who have qualified based on the results of the Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2023, conducted by UPSC, and subsequent interviews held by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence. These candidates are set for admission to the Officers Training Academy, Chennai, for the 120th Short Service Commission Course (NT) for men and the 34th Short Service Commission Women (Non-Technical) Course, both commencing in October 2024.

The list for the 120th Short Service Commission Course (NT) for men also includes candidates who were previously recommended for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun; the Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala; and the Air Force Academy, Hyderabad, for the Pre-Flying Training Course(s).

The number of vacancies as reported by the Government is 169 for the 120th Short Service Commission Course (NT) for men and 16 for the 34th Short Service Commission Women (Non-Technical) Course.

It is important to note that the medical examination results of candidates have not been considered in the preparation of the merit list. All candidates' results are currently provisional, pending verification of their date of birth and educational qualifications by Army Headquarters.

The main results for CDS II 2023 were released on April 23, 2024. A total of 197 candidates have qualified based on the results of the Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2023, conducted by UPSC in September 2023, and subsequent SSB interviews held by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence. These candidates are eligible for admission to the 157th (DE) Course of the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun, the Indian Naval Academy in Ezhimala, Kerala, and the Air Force Academy in Hyderabad for the Pre-Flying Training Course (No. 216 F(P) Course).

For more information and related details, candidates are encouraged to visit the official UPSC website. The marks of the candidates will be available on the Commission's website within 15 days from the date of the final results' declaration for a period of 30 days.

Candidates are also reminded about the scheme of public disclosure of scores and other details of non-recommended candidates available on the Commission’s website. Non-recommended candidates can exercise their options while downloading their marks.
