New Delhi: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has extended the registration deadline for Agniveer -vayu till August 4. Earlier, the window was scheduled to close on July 28. Unmarried Indian male and female candidates can apply for the Agniveer Vayu selection under the Agnipath scheme through the official website, agnipathvayu.cdac.in.

  • Last Date for Application Submission: August 4, 2024
  • Exam Date: October 18, 2024
  • Application Fee: Rs 550

IAD Agniveervayu Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:

  • Candidates born between July 3, 2004, and January 3, 2008 (both dates inclusive) are eligible.
  • The upper age limit for candidates who clear all selection stages should be 21 years on the date of enrolment.

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

Class 12 Qualification:

  • Passed Class 12 or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and English from a recognized board.
  • Minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.

Three-Year Diploma Course:

  • Completed a three-year diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, or Information Technology) from a recognized polytechnic.
  • Minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English in the diploma or in intermediate/matriculation if English was not a subject in the diploma course.

Two-Year Vocational Course:

  • Completed a two-year vocational course with non-vocational subjects such as Physics and Mathematics from a recognized board.
  • Minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English in the vocational course or in intermediate/matriculation if English was not a subject in the vocational course.
