Coronavirus lockdown has caused everyone to stay indoors in order to curb spre of disease. This implied that all schools, colleges and or educational institutions of any kind must remain closed till time lockdown is lifted in country. This has led to a lot of institutes postponing ir exams, missions and various or procedures that used to take place during this time of year.
This has also affected students who were to appear for ir board exams for class 10th and 12th. Students and ir parents have been wondering if board exams have been cancelled or postponed. Ar major query that has been coming in is that if exams have been postponed, n what are new dates for exams? Re on to get details about same.

According to tice issued on official website of CBSE and press release put up by board, here are details about exams.
Board will conduct examinations for only main subjects that will be required for promotion and may be crucial for missions in higher educational institutions.

For rest of subjects, Board will t hold examinations; instructions for marking/assessment in all such cases shall be separately issued by Board.
As per CBSE circular released on April 29th, reference was me to mir CBSE Class 10 board exams. mir subjects are those subjects which would have effect on a student’s careers if y were cancelled. Hence, CBSE board has anunced that it would cancel only those exams which were mir exams and major subjects will be held for students. When CBSE board is in a position to hold exams, it will conduct exams only for major subjects that are crucial for career of students.

Please te: board has clarified that a 10-day tice will be given to students before y conduct any exam. refore, everyone must refrain from believing in false news and must abstain from creating panic amongst students of any kind. It also gave sources where board will anunce any kind of changes, or give information regarding exams. Everyone must refer to official website or official social media handles of CBSE board and avoid rumours.

Evaluation work: Due to present situation, Board has t been able to continue its evaluation work. Board will come out with furr instructions for evaluating in changed circumstances. se instructions, and dates for restart of evaluation work in various evaluation centres in country can also t be anunced at this st. However, Board will give 3-4 days’ tice to restart evaluation work, which maybe ted by all Chief dal Supervisors, He Examiners, Evaluators, Coordinators, etc. of Evaluation Centers.
