JEE Main Result 2021 Highlights: 6 candidates secure perfect 100 NTA score in Paper 1

NTA has declared the JEE Main result within 10 days from the conclusion of the examination. JEE Main February exam 2021 was conducted from February 23 to 26 in a computer-based test mode. The result has been declared within 10 days this time. In the year 2020, JEE Main Result was declared five days from the completion of the exam. JEE Main 2020 was held from September 1 to 6 and the result was declared on September 11.

JEE Main Results for B. Tech and Bachelor's of Engineering (Paper 1) have been declared by NTA. Candidates can download their JEE Main Scorecard from the website- jeemain.nta.nic.in. NTA has activated two servers to check JEE Main Results. Candidates can try checking their JEE results by clicking on any of the two links.

JEE Main February 2021 result has been declared at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The wait of over 6 lakh candidates has finally come to an end. Candidates can check their NTA scores by following these steps.

• Step 1: Visit the official website of Joint Entrance Exam- jeemain.nta.nic.in
• Step 2: On the homepage, click on the JEE Main Feb Result link
• Step 3: A login page will open on the screen
• Step 4: Key in your application number or roll number and date of birth to log in
• Your JEE Main Result 2021 and NTA scores will be displayed on the screen
• Step 5: Download and take its printout

There will be certain reservations of seats for reserved category candidates. In the case of Institutes run by the Central Government, the reservation would be applicable as mentioned below:

1. 15% of the seats Scheduled Castes (SC) candidates
2. 7.5% seats for Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates
3. 27% seats for Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) candidates as per the Central List
4. 10% of the seats for General Economically Weaker Sections (General - EWS) candidates
5. Persons with Disability (PwD) with 40% or more disability

JEE Main comprises of two papers. The Paper1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments, as well as an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Candidates of UPSEE (2021) will take JEE (Main) 2021. The Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country. From this year, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow will also use the score sheet of JEE (Main) – 2021 for admission to the B.Tech / M.Tech (Integrated)/B.Arch. Courses in its affiliated colleges across the State.

Candidates should keep their JEE Main February admit card handy. The roll number, application number, password and date of birth mentioned in the admit card will have to be entered on the JEE website to log in and check their results.

• Go to the official website of JEE at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
• On the homepage look for the JEE Main February 2021 result link and click on it.
• You will be redirected to a new page. Enter the required credentials asked on the page and click on submit.
• Your JEE Main result 2021 will be displayed on the screen
• Download and take a printout of it for future reference.

Union education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Monday tweeted that the JEE Main result will be declared in few hours from now. Candidates have been waiting anxiously for the results since Sunday. 

"The results of the #JEE (Main) February 2021 session will be released by the National Testing Agency in a few hours from now. Stay Tuned. @DG_NTA," the minister tweeted.

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has tweeted regarding an update on JEE Main Result 2021. He said that JEE Main Result 2021 will be declared in a few hours from now. Candidates can expect their results by evening today.

NTA will conduct JEE Main second cycle of exam from March 15 to 18. JEE Main March admit card will be released soon. 

JEE Main Result will be declared soon on March 8. Candidates will be able to check their results by logging in using their roll number/ application number and date of birth/ password. Candidates must keep their admit cards handy. The roll number/ application number mentioned in the JEE Main admit card has to be entered to login and check JEE Main results.

National Testing Agency will not announce the JEE Main rank list for this time. Candidates will be able to check their NTA scores only. These will be the raw scores of the candidates. NTA will prepare the rank list after completion of the final cycle of exam in May,

6. Download and take its printout 

JEE Main Result 2021 is expected to be declared today. NTA had earlier scheduled to declare the JEE Main Results 2021 by March 7. However, the results were not declared on that date. Now, candidates can expect their JEE  main results anytime soon on Monday, March 8. Once the result is declared, candidates will have to visit the official website of JEE- jeemain.nta.nic.in to download their scorecard.
