BPSC 70th Notfication 2024 OUT, Vacancies Increased to 1957; Registration For CCE Begins on Sep 28

BPSC 70th Notification 2024 has been released on official website- bpsc.bih.nic.in. Bihar Public Service Commission has also increased number of vacancies from 1929 to 1957. registrations will begin on September 28. last date to apply is October 18, 2024. Aspirants can apply online through official website of commission.

BPSC 70th CCE Dates

BPSC chairman, Parmar Ravi Manubhai, in a press conference on  Friday, said that prelims exam is expected to be held in second week of November. tentative date is November 17. BPSC 70th CCE main exams will be held in February-March.

BPSC 70th Recruitment Notification 2024: Reservation 

Per official notice, 805 out of 1929 vacancies are for unreserved category candidates and 609 for women. 34 vacancies are for grandsons or granddaughters of freedom fighters and 66 are for PwBD category.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates who have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university can apply for posts. 

Age limit: For posts with pay level 9, lower age limit is 22 years. For level-7 posts, it will be 21 years. For police superintendent and district collector posts, minimum age is 20 years. upper age limit for unreserved male candidates is 37 years,  for UR female, BC, EBC (male, female), it is 40 years. For SC, ST categories, upper age limit is 42 years.
