BPSC 70th Notification 2024 Out For Highest-Ever 1929 Vacancies, Prelims in November

BPSC 70th Notification 2024: Bihar Public Service Commission has released BPSC 70th CCE Recruitment Notification 2024. commission has offered highest-ever 1929 vacancies. detailed notification will be published on official website- bpsc.bih.nic.in shortly. recruitment drive was announced in a press conference on Friday in Patna where official notice was released.

BPSC 70th CCE Dates

BPSC chairman, Parmar Ravi Manubhai dressed media persons in press conference. He said that prelims exam is expected to be held in second week of November. tentative date is November 17. BPSC 70th CCE main exams will be held in month of February-March.

BPSC 70th Recruitment Notification 2024: Reservation 

As per official notice, 799 out of 1929 vacancies are reserved for unreserved category candidates and 604 for women. 34 vacancies are for grandsons or granddaughters of freedom fighters and 66 for PwBD category. 

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates who have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university can apply for posts. 

Age limit: For posts with pay level 9, lower age limit is 22 years. For level-7 posts, it will be 21 years. For police superintendent and district collector posts, minimum age is 20 years. upper age limit for unreserved male candidates is 37 years,  for UR female, BC, EBC (male, female), it is 40 years. For SC, ST categories, upper age limit is 42 years.
