BPSC 70th Notification 2024 Out For Highest-Ever 1929 Vacancies, Prelims in November

BPSC 70th Notification 2024: The Bihar Public Service Commission has released the BPSC 70th CCE Recruitment Notification 2024. The commission has offered the highest-ever 1929 vacancies. The detailed notification will be published on the official website- bpsc.bih.nic.in shortly. The recruitment drive was announced in a press conference on Friday in Patna where the official notice was released.

BPSC 70th CCE Dates

BPSC chairman, Parmar Ravi Manubhai addressed the media persons in the press conference. He said that the prelims exam is expected to be held in the second week of November. The tentative date is November 17. The BPSC 70th CCE main exams will be held in the month of February-March.

BPSC 70th Recruitment Notification 2024: Reservation 

As per the official notice, 799 out of 1929 vacancies are reserved for unreserved category candidates and 604 for women. 34 vacancies are for grandsons or granddaughters of freedom fighters and 66 for the PwBD category. 

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates who have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university can apply for the posts. 

Age limit: For posts with pay level 9, the lower age limit is 22 years. For level-7 posts, it will be 21 years. For the police superintendent and district collector posts, the minimum age is 20 years. The upper age limit for unreserved male candidates is 37 years,  for UR female, BC, EBC (male, female), it is 40 years. For SC, ST categories, the upper age limit is 42 years.
