Indian Railways Recruitment 2024: Application Begins For 5006 Apprentice Vacancies in RRC WR

Indian Railway Recruitment: Indian Railways' Western Region has invited online applications for recruitment against 5066 vacancies for post of apprentices. application begins today, September 23. last date to apply is October 22. re are posts of Fitter, Welder, Turner, Machinist, Carpenter, Painter, Mechanic, Programming & System ministration Assistant, and Electrician. Aspirants can apply online at rrcwr.com. 

Pay Scale

In case of direct recruitment from open market to posts/categories in Level – 1 (Rs. 18,000/- - Rs. 56,900/-), Course Completed Act Apprentices (CCAA) trained in Railway Establishments and possessing National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) will be given preference in filling up 20% vacancies on qualifying requisite norms notified by RRB/RRC.

Eligibility Criteria

applicants should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as of 22/10/2024. 2.2 SC/ST/OBC- Relaxation in Upper age limit by 05 years in case of SC/ST applicants and 03 years in case of OBC Applicants. 2.3 Persons with Disability (PWD): upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years. 2.4 Ex-servicemen-upper age limit is relaxed up to an ditional 10 years.

Selection Process

Selection of eligible applicants for imparting training under Apprentice Act, 1961 will be based on merit list which would be prepared taking average of percentage of marks obtained by applicants in both matriculation [with a minimum 50% (aggregate) marks] and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both. re will be no written test or viva.
