SSC GD Constable Vacancy 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is scheduled to release the recruitment notification for constable (general duty) ) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in the Assam Rifles tomorrow, August 27, as per the SSC annual calendar. The notification will be published on the official website- ssc.gov.in. The last date to register is October 5, 2024. The exam will be held in the months of January-February 2025.

The total number of vacancies will be mentioned in the recruitment notification. Last year, there were 75768 vacancies. This year, over 50,000 vacancies are expected to be announced. 

SSC GD Constable Recruitment: Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University.
Age Limit: 18- 23 years.

SSC GD Constable Recruitment: Selection Process

Candidates will have to pass a Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by a Physical Standard Test (PST), a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and a Medical Test. The Computer-based examination will consist of one objective type paper containing 80 questions carrying 2 marks each. There will be four sections including a general intelligence and reasoning, general knowledge and awareness, elementary math, and English/Hindi.
