UPSC Civil Services Main Exam 2024 To Begin Tomorrow, Check Reporting Time, Key Instructions Here

UPSC CSE Mains 2024: Union Public Service Commission ( UPSC ) will begin civil services main exam tomorrow, September 20. exam will be held for five days on September 20, 21, 22, 28, and 29. exam will begin with Paper-1 Essay scheduled to be held from 9 am to 12 pm. Re on to know important exam-day guidelines, do's and don'ts, and or key instructions.

UPSC CSE Mains 2024 Exam: Key Instructions 

• Bring printout of UPSC CSE main exam 2024 mit card to exam centre, along with a valid photo ID card, whose number is mentioned in e-mit card, in each session. 
• Reporting Time: Enter exam hall at least 30 minutes before commencement of exam. entry gates for morning shift exam will close at 8.30 am. 
• Candidates who do not have clear photographs on e-mit card will have to bring a passport-size photograph, one for each session, to appear in examination with an Undertaking.

Things To Keep in Mind While Writing Answers

Candidates must note that y should strictly answer all parts and sub-parts of a question in Question Cum Answer (QCA) booklet in space provided under each question/part in QCA booklet. Re Instructions for Candidates printed on QCA booklet carefully. Any infringement of instructions in QCA booklet might entail a penalty in form of deduction of marks scored by candidate and disciplinary action including cancellation & debarment from future examinations

Candidates are vised to ensure that spaces/pages remaining blank are crossed out before QCA booklets are handed over to Invigilator.

 Candidates are required to use specific space, available at designated place in answer copy, for rough work. Copy of mit card or any or space/sheet etc. should not be used for rough work.

Candidates for each session have to hand over ir QCAB to Invigilator after detaching Question Paper available in detachable form at end of QCA Booklet, before leaving Examination Room/Hall.
