According to a recent media report, a student union has written to Bombay High Court regarding Mumbai University exam and how current uncertainty about exams is causing stress and anxiety to final year students.

According to report, Maharashtra Students Union (MASU) has written a six-p long email to ask for clarity about final year exam news. In its email, students union has asked state governments to make a decision about final-year undergraduate and postgraduate examinations and issue a resolution to same. students union has said that government’s decision may t be perfect entirely but it would help m make future plans without burdening teaching and administrative infrastructure. It also said that this burden may prove problematic for already delayed academic year.

On May 31, 2020, Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray anunced that final year exams will t be held in state of Maharashtra. students will be given aver marks on basis of ir performance in previous semesters. However, GR has been followed. students' Union said that Goverr Bhagat Singh Koshyari has intervened in this matter and said that exams must be conducted leading to furr confusion among students.
