Reciting National Anthem mandatory before commencing classes in UP Madrasas from today

Uttar Presh government has me it mandatory for all students and teachers in Mrasas of state to sing national anm before commencing classes. order has been implemented from today, May 12. Danish Az Ansari, minority state minister of UP has passed this order. decision was taken in meeting of UP Mrasa education board on March 24.
order of implementation was passed on May 9. As per order, schools will continue with previously sung religious prayers along with national anm- "Jana Gana Mana". Mrasas were closed from March 30 to May 11 due to Ramazan. schools has reopened on Thursday, May 12 and order has been implemented from today. order will be applicable in all recognized, aided and non-aided mrasas. decision has come almost five years after UP Mrasa Board h me recital of National anm and flag hoisting mandatory on independence day, in year 2017.

" national anm is sung in all schools and we want to instill patriotism in mrasa students too. This has been done so that students know our history and culture apart from religious studies. It is alrey recited in some mrasas. We have me it compulsory now from coming acemic session," UP Mrasa Board chairman h said.
UP Mrasa Board Exams from May 14
UP Mrasa Board exams have been scheduled to be held from May 14 to May 27. From this year, subjects like Hindi, English, maths, social sciences and science would be me mandatory from next acemic session for students up to senior secondary level.

"Six examination papers will be me mandatory with dition of se subjects. se subjects were optional until now and taught from NCERT books. We want our students to be part of mainstream," chairman h earlier said.
