SSC – Constable GD 2019-2020 Examination Admit Card Released. Here’s How to Download
SSC GD Constable Admit Cards have been released on regional SSC portals. The exam is being conducted by staff selection commission to recruit Constable (General Duty) in BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles.

The Staff Selection Commission conducts a number of examinations every year for a number of posts. Thousands of candidates appear for these annual examinations that provide aspirants with an opportunity to join the Government of India.
Why is this exam conducted?
The ‘Constable – General Duty’ examinations are conducted for postings in the BSF, CRPF, CISF, Rifleman and ITBP. This year, the Staff Selection Commission has listed more than 50,000 vacancies for the Constable – General Duty examinations.

How to download SSC GD Constable admit card
1. Visit www.ssc.nic.in/Portal/AdmitCard
2. Find the region you belong to, and on it. For example, if you are from Mumbai, on the Western Region.
3. Select ‘Download Admit Card’ from the options.
4. Enter your roll number/registration number, date of birth, exam centre code and captcha code.

The SSC – GD examinations are expected to be conducted between 11th February 2019 to 11th March 2019. The result dates for the examinations have not been announced yet.

Exam Syllabus and Pattern
The SSC – GD Constable examinations are conducted for 100 marks, and will involve multiple choice questions. The duration for completion of the examination will be 90 minutes (1 hour 20 minutes).
The Paper will be divided into four parts – General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and English/Hindi Comprehension.
Each part of the question paper will be for 25 marks, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
The written examination will be followed by PET (Physical Endurance Test and Physical Standard Test).
Syllabus for the examination will be as follows;
• General Intelligence and Reasoning: Observation, Visual memory, Verbal Reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, Analyzing skills, Recent studies, Spatial visualization and orientation.
• General Knowledge and Awareness: Current events, Sports, Economy, Geography, History (India and World), Culture and Important Dates etc
• Elementary Mathematics: Percentages, Averages, Time and Distance, Interest, Ratios and Proportions, Fundamental Arithmetic Operations, Mensuration and Discount.
• English/Hindi Comprehension: Writing, Sentence formation, Synonyms/Antonyms.

The format of the paper
The format for the written examination will be divided into four different sections – General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and English Comprehension.
Each section will have 25 marks, and the examination will be held for a total duration of 90 minutes (One and a half hour).
The written examination will be followed by a Physical Efficiency Test and a Physical Standard Test.
