Telangana schools shut on Novemebr 29, 30 due to assembly elections

All schools and colleges in Hyderab will be closed for two days on vember 29 and 30.  school holidays have been declared due to assembly elections in state. collector of Hyderab tweeted regarding holiday on Tuesday.

" In view of Telangana Assembly Elections 2023, all educational institutions in Hyderab district will remain closed on 29th and 30th v 2023. Regular activities resume on 1 Dec 2023,’ collector tweeted.

school teachers on election duties in Telangana have been asked to report at booth by 7 am on vember 29 for preparation and handling of EVM machines for voting day. Teachers are also asked to arrive at designated schools, which will serve as polling centres and hence acemic activities will be affected due to unavailability of teachers. 

Earlier, state government h anunced a public holiday on vember 30 for all workers and employees in Telangana due to upcoming assembly elections. Voting will be done on vember 30 and counting will be done on Sunday, December 3.
