TN Board results to be out in third week of July; State Education Ministry to give a date

Students under Tamil Nadu schools board of class 10th grade, 11th grade and 12th grade can w take a sigh of relief as Tamil Nadu state education department has anunced that results will be anunced soon. Students are urged to keep admit cards ready as while looking for results those will be needed.  results will be anunced online on official website of board. board result was awaited by over nine lakh students.

TN Board results to be anunced soon

Minister for School Education, K.A Sengottaiyan, took to Twitter to share that results will be anunced in third week of July. department is putting database toger, and soon students can find out how y have scored in one of most important examinations at school level. minister has urged students to keep checking official website for more updates. So far, thing related to 2020 TN Board results have been updated on website. education minister took to Twitter on Saturday and shared, “ Hon'ble Chief Minister has instructed that results of 10th, 11th and 12th-grade exams be passed as fast as possible by third week of July. In accordance with those instructions, tasks will be fulfilled.”

state authorities are yet to anunce fixed dates. Over nine lakh students are waiting for results this year. TN SSLC exams were cancelled due to coronavirus pandemic that continues to wreak havoc in country. nation went on lockdown as declared by centre. Major education and university activities were on hold. However, Tamil Nadu state authorities were one of first ones to call off exams as a preventive measure against COVID-19.

10th-grade exams were called off earlier

On June 10, 2020, officials had called off SSLC 10th grade exams due to rising numbers of coronavirus cases in state. All public school exams were cancelled and state education minister revealed that students will be promoted. decision came after several re-scheduling problems occurred that at first exams were to be held in first week of June, later pushed to second week until finally cancelled.
