3. Sardar Patel College of Engineering

4. Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering

This private college is affiliated with the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). 5. Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering, Mumbai

This college can be found in Mumbai’s Bandra neighbourhood and is locally known as Fr. Agnel. One of the best institutions in the city, it’s accredited ‘A’ by the Government of Maharashtra and the Directorate of Technical Education. This non-autonomous college was established in 1984 and is affiliated with the University of Mumbai. Students can apply here for their undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.

6. Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering

7. K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering

This autonomous institution is one of the best engineering colleges in Mumbai and is associated with the University of Mumbai. It’s a top-notch college where the education standards and competition is extremely high. They offer bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees in IT, mechanical, electronics, computer and electronics and telecommunications. 8. Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Mumbai

Also known as DBIT, this institute is located in Kurla and has set extremely high standards. 9. Vivekananda Educational Society Institute of Technology

10. Institute of Chemical Technology

Formerly known as UDCT (University Department of Chemical Technology), this is one of the oldest engineering colleges in Mumbai. It was started in 1933 and is recognised globally as one of the best institutes for chemical engineering. This institution has a long list of notable alumni, including Dr. M. M. Sharma, the first Indian chemical engineer and famed industrialist, Mukesh Ambani.
